Elevate Economics Summer School

By visiting our website or booking a place on the Elevate Economics Summer School (the “Programme”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
#### 1. About us and the Programme
- The Programme is organised and delivered by Elevate Economics Summer School (“we/us”), a trading name of Elevate Economics Ltd.
- The 5-day non-residential economics course is held at facilities provided by London South Bank University (LSBU). LSBU is only the venue provider and has no responsibility for the organisation, content, or delivery of the Programme.
- The lead teacher is George Moran.
#### 2. Eligibility
- The Programme is open to students aged 16–19 (or as stated on the specific course page).
- Parents/guardians must complete the booking on behalf of students under 18.
#### 3. Booking and Payment
- A place is secured only when full payment (or the agreed deposit) is received.
- We accept payment by bank transfer, Stripe, and PayPal.
- Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
#### 4. Cancellation by you (Refund Policy)
- You may cancel and receive a full refund (minus any payment-processing fees) if written notice is received at least **4 weeks** before the Programme start date.
- Cancellations received less than 4 weeks before the start date are non-refundable.
- No refund is given for non-attendance or early departure.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days.
#### 5. Cancellation or changes by us
- If the Programme is undersubscribed or cannot run for reasons beyond our control (e.g., staff illness, venue issues, government restrictions), we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule.
- In case of cancellation by us, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future programme.
- We may make minor changes to content, timetable, or teachers without notice. Significant changes will be communicated as soon as possible.
#### 6. Behaviour and attendance
- Students must follow our Code of Conduct (provided at booking) and any reasonable instructions from staff or LSBU.
- We reserve the right to remove any student whose behaviour is disruptive, dangerous, or illegal. No refund will be given in such cases.
#### 7. Liability and insurance
- Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the Programme.
- We recommend you arrange your own travel and personal possessions insurance where necessary.
- Activities take place at your own risk (subject to our duty of care).
#### 8. Intellectual property
- All course materials, slides, handouts, and recordings are property of Elevate Economics Summer School or George Moran.
- Students may use them for personal study only. Sharing, recording, or commercial use is strictly prohibited without written permission.
#### 9. Photographs and marketing
- We may take photos/videos during the Programme. These may be used on our website and marketing materials unless you opt out in writing.
#### 10. Website use
- You may use our website for lawful purposes only.
- We may update or remove content at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms.
#### 11. Accuracy of information
- While we try to ensure all information is accurate, we give no warranties about the website or Programme content.
#### 12. Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
#### 13. Changes to these terms
- We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version is always posted here.
